Finding solutions for transportation-related challenges is a top priority for growers, processors and exporters of Canadian pulses and special crops. If Canada is to maintain and strengthen its position as a world leader in the production and export of pulses and special crops it must also be viewed as a world leader in the consistent and reliable supply of these crops to customers in over 150 countries around the world.
Pulse Canada's Transportation Program, funded by growers, the trade and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada through the Advancing Canadian Agri-Food Program (ACAAF) aims to help the industry gain better access to equipment and to obtain more consistent and reliable service from transportation service providers.
In the Transportation Section of the Pulse Canada website you will find resources that have been created for Pulse Canada stakeholders, special reports commissioned by Pulse Canada and performance reports that highlight key performance indicators of the Canadian supply chain that is tasked with moving Canadian pulses and special crops from the fields to customers around the world.
This section will be updated continuously so please check back regularly and if you have questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact Greg Cherewyk, Director of Transportation at gcherewyk@pulsecanada.com.
