CIFST is the organization representing the Canadian community of food technologists. Pulse Canada has coordinated a technical symposium on pulses featuring presentations on milling technology, ingredient processing and improving functionality for food and nutraceutical applications. Speakers for this session are from the Canadian International Grains Institute (CIGI), Burcon Nutrascience, the University of Manitoba, and the University of Alberta.
